Shine and Reflections in the Palace

The year was 2014, and I was in Quito for work-related matters. On one of my days off, I decided to take a sightseeing tour around the city.

The Carondelet Palace was a great option for a tourist. The former presidential residence, now turned into a museum open to the public, was undoubtedly a wonderful choice.

In one of the halls, everything sparkled and reflected in the glass, the floors, and the mirrors.

If this contest had existed back then, I would have certainly taken more photos. But since it didn’t, this pair of pictures is a small glimpse of the reflections inside the Carondelet Palace.

Brillos y Reflejos en el Palacio

Transcurría el año 2014 y me encontraba en Quito por cuestiones laborales. En uno de mis días libres decidí hacer un recorrido turístico por la ciudad.

El Palacio de Carondelet era una buena opción para un turista. La antigua casa presidencial convertida en museo abierto al público, fue sin dudas una buena elección.

En uno de los salones, todo brillaba y se reflejaba en los cristales, los pisos y los espejos.

Si en aquellos años hubiera existido este concurso, sin dudas hubiera tomado más fotografías, pero como no, este par de fotos es una pequeña muestra de los reflejos del Palacio de Carondelet.
