Good morning dear friends of the @splinterlands universe. It's Friday and we have just around the corner another weekend to enjoy and rest from what has been, in my case, a busy and, why not say it, entertaining week. I'm here for another week of the Engagement Challenge, which is also helping me to discover and learn about the new Arcane edition In fact, this week's article is about one of the cards of this edition that has caught my attention and that I will try to add to my roster because it could be an interesting addition to my strategies. However, I can't show you its playability with a battle because I don't have it in my possession yet. Maybe in a few weeks I will come back to it for the Social Media Challenge. Let's get to this week's article.

Ya es viernes y tenemos a la vuelta de la esquina otro fin de semana para disfrutar y descansar de lo que ha sido, en mi caso, una semana ajetreada y, porque no decirlo, entretenida. Aquí estoy una semana más cumpliendo con el Engagement Challenge que me está sirviendo, además, para descubrir y aprender cosas sobra la nueva edición Arcane. De hecho, el artículo de esta semana versa sobre una de las cartas de esta edición que me ha llamado la atención y que intentaré añadir a mi roster porque puede ser una adición interesante para mis estrategias. Eso si, no te puedo mostrar su jugabilidad con una batalla pues aún no está en mi poder. Quizá en unas semanas vuelva sobre ella para el Social Media Challenge. Vamos a por el artículo de esta semana.
The card I'm here to tell you about this week that I've been loving reviewing its abilities is none other than Abyssal Elemental. It's a water deck card with epic rarity that gets a lot better as you level it up from 1 to 6. It has magic attack and, on paper, it could have very good synergies with some of the cards I have evolved in this water deck. Just imagining the playability it would have with a good tank and surrounded by Djinn Oshannus and Kulu Mastermind makes me seriously consider acquiring it on the market. At its initial level it barely adds up to one point of magic attack, however, it will increase to 3 points having yta 2 at its second level. This is a level where it starts to be a really scary and useful card.
La carta de la que te vengo a hablar esta semana y que me ha encantado revisando sus habilidades no es otra que Abyssal Elemental. Se trata de una carta del mazo dde agua y de rareza épica que mejora considerablemente a medida que vamos subiendo sus niveles del 1 al 6. Cuenta con aatque mágico y, sobre el papel, podría tener muy buenass sinergiass con algunas de las cartas que tengo evolucionadas en este mazo acuático. Imaginar la jugabilidad que tendría con un buen tanque y rodeada de Djinn Oshannus y de Kulu Mastermind me hace plantearme de forma muy seria su adquisición en el mercado. En su nivel inicial apenas suma un punto de ataque mágico, sin embargo, aumentará hasta los 3 puntos teniendo yta 2 en su segundo nivel. Nivel eéste en el que ya comienza a ser una carta realmente temible y útil.
One of the aspects that sets Abyssal Elemental apart is the presence of one of the special abilities that have been incorporated into the game with the ARcana edition. I'm talking specifically about Resurgence, whose impact is that it resurrects the card that has this ability, also restoring 100% of its skill points and shield, and also removing all debuffs and incorporating all the buffs that the card had at the time of being eliminated. Not everything could be good with this ability and the downside is that it loses a turn and, in addition, it will cause a point of damage to the rest of the lane mates. Despite this, I think it is a point worth taking into account and that it benefits Abyssal Elemental and the strategy that led you to use in combat. Finally, at level 6 it gains a second special ability: Blast.
Uno de los aspectos que diferencia a Abyssal Elemental es la presencia de una de las habilidades especiales que se han incorporado al juego con la edici´n ARcana. Te hablo en concreto de Resurgence cuto impacto es el de resucitar a la propia carta que tiene esta habilidad restaurando, además, el 100% de sus puntos de habilidad y escudo y, también, quitar todos los debufos e incorporar todos los bufos con los que contara la carta en el momento de ser eliminada. No todo podía ser bueno con esta habilidad y la contrapartida es que pierde un turno y, addemás, causará un punto de daño al resto de compañeros de alineación. A pesar de esto creo que es un punto a tener en cuenta y que beneficia a Abyssal Elemental y a la estrategia que te haya llevado a utilizar en combate. Por último, a nivel 6 obtiene una segunda habilidad especial: Blast.
For a few days now, we've been able to access Arcana Edition cards on the market, keeping in mind that prices will fluctuate and vary as players accumulate more copies of this edition in their decks. At the time of writing this brief review, Abyssal Elemental's prices are $1.27 in its regular version, while the rental cost is $1 dec per rental day. I've always advised, and I'm not going to change my mind today, to rent the cards you plan to buy to see how they actually perform on the battlefield with your own deck. In my case, this little technique has prevented me from buying some that I thought would perform well and that, once tested, turned out to be a tremendous disappointment. So, whenever you can, rent them as a preliminary step to buying.
Desde hace unos días podemos acceder a las cartas edición Arcana en el mercado teniendo en cuenta que los precios irán fluctuando y variando a medida que los jugadores vayamos teniendo más y más copias de esta edición en nuestros mazos. En el momento de escribir esta pequeña reseña los precios de Abyssal Elemental son de 1.27 dólares en su veersión normal mientras que el coste de alquiler sería de 1 dec por día de renta. Siempre he aconsejado, y hoy no voy a cambiar de opinión, de alquilar lass cartas que tengas pensado comprar para ver sobre el campo de batalla su rendimiento real con tu propio mazo. En mi caso esta pequeña técnica me ha evitado comprar alguna que pensaba que rendiría bien y que, una vez probada, resultó ser una tremenda decepción. Así que, siempre que puedas, recurre al alquiler como paso previo a la compra.
Okay. Now that I've told you about Abyssal Elemental's stats, abilities, and gameplay, I'm going to give you my opinion and strategy on how I'm going to try to get it. It's simple: I'm going to launch it on the market in the middle of next month, once the price fluctuations have stabilized, and I'll try to get 10 copies to get it to level 3. At this level, it already has 2 magic attack points, speed and shield, and six vitality points, all in exchange for six summoning mana points. For now, at that level, I can get a satisfactory return, and I expect the investment to be around $10. A tiny but manageable amount considering the rewards I get from these types of articles and also your votes. Bueno. Ahora que ya te he contado las características, habilidades y jugabilidad de Abyssal Elemental te voy a dar mi opinión y mi estrategia sobre cómo vy a intentar hacerme con ella. Es sencillo, a mediados del próximo mes me voy a lanzar al mercado, una vez que la fluctuación de su precio se haya estabilizado, e intentaré conseguir 10 copias para llevarla a nivel 3. En este nivel ya cuenta con 2 puntos de ataque mágico, velocidad y escudo y seis de vitalidad todo ello a cambio de seis puntos de maná de invocación. Por el momento, a ese nivel me puede dar un rendimiento satisactorio y la inversión espero que ronde los 10 dólares. Una cantidad ínfima y asumible teniendo en cuenta las recompensas que me aportan este tipo de artículos y, también, vuestros votos.
