Yesterday, after a day of shopping and a lot of walking, we were finally given the opportunity to visit Kaldivia café, a place we had on our list for a long time. We wanted to take a break to have a snack and rest for a while, so it seemed like the perfect time.
From the moment we walked in, we loved the place. It is a very cozy place, with a nice and simple decoration. Everything looked impeccable, every detail taken care of, and the atmosphere was quiet, ideal to relax after the hustle and bustle of the day.

Ayer, después de un día de compras y mucha caminata, por fin se nos dio la oportunidad de conocer el café Kaldivia, un lugar que teníamos en la lista desde hace tiempo. Queríamos hacer una pausa para merendar y descansar un rato, así que nos pareció el momento perfecto.
Desde que entramos, el sitio nos encantó. Es un lugar muy acogedor, con una decoración linda y sencilla. Todo se veía impecable, cada detalle cuidado, y el ambiente era tranquilo, ideal para relajarse después del ajetreo del día.

We ordered our coffees and a few things to go with them. My husband and I chose cappuccinos, which surprised us with their quality and flavor, as they are made with special coffees of 100% Colombian origin. For lunch, I ordered a cheese stick, my husband a croissant and my daughter opted for a cookie. Everything was fresh, homemade tasting and well done. The cheese stick had a perfect balance between softness and crunchiness, the croissant was fluffy and golden, and the cookie was simply delicious.
The service was very friendly. We liked the experience so much that we are already thinking of returning, perhaps for a quiet breakfast or to try other desserts and coffees from their menu.
Kaldivia left us with a very nice feeling. Sometimes you don't need big plans to have a good time, but a warm place, good company and a coffee made with love. Yesterday we had all that, and it was a perfect afternoon.
Pedimos nuestros cafés y unas cositas para acompañar. Mi esposo y yo elegimos capuchinos, que nos sorprendieron por su calidad y sabor, pues están hechos con cafés especiales de origen y 100% colombianos. Para comer, yo pedí un palito de queso, mi esposo un croissant y mi hija optó por una galleta. Todo estaba fresco, con sabor casero y bien hecho. El palito de queso tenía un equilibrio perfecto entre suavidad y crocantez, el croissant era esponjoso y doradito, y la galleta, simplemente deliciosa.
La atención fue muy amable. Nos gustó tanto la experiencia que ya estamos pensando en regresar, quizás para un desayuno tranquilo o para probar otros postres y cafés de su carta.
Kaldivia nos dejó una sensación muy bonita. A veces uno no necesita grandes planes para pasarla bien, sino un lugar cálido, buena compañía y un café hecho con cariño. Ayer tuvimos todo eso, y fue una tarde perfecta.
