ENGLISH VERSION
Today was one of those days when it was hard for me to decide, but it was worth it. Getting out of the routine, seeing other faces, seeing other places—these activities make us see everything differently, even if it's just for a day.
My beautiful cousin is graduating from police custody. This is a first for the family. That was his dream, and he fulfilled it. Unfortunately, my aunt is no longer alive to be with him. However, my mom and I were there for his ceremony, for the Mass they held to celebrate this big step for these young people.
On the other hand, it's the first time we've been to this church, which is quite far away. It's small, but the atmosphere, the place, everything, brings you peace. It's simple. It has a closed space for worshiping the Blessed Sacrament. I loved that, and my mom did too. Not to mention the priest, quite a character. The way he expressed himself, what he said, focused a lot on our desires, on what we long for and ask of our Father God.
The bad thing is the Venezuelan tardiness. They tell you one hour, and you arrive three hours later, hahaha. We arrived early, and there was no one there, nor was the church open, so we had to wait a long time, and while they arrived and got set up, the mass took two hours to start.
As I said, it was worth it. The ceremony, the place, the atmosphere, and the sharing my mom and I had afterwards were very beautiful, hahaha. By the way, we left there starving. Sorry, I didn't take a picture of that, hunger wouldn't let me.
Well, friends, that's it for my day, and how was yours? I'll read you.
