Hello, Music community!
Today I'm delighted to share my instrumental flute version of "Sway," a song that has always captivated me with its enveloping rhythm and Latin flavor. This piece has a special history: it was originally composed in 1953 by Mexican Pablo Beltrán Ruiz under the title "Quién Sera?" (Who Will It Be?), as an instrumental mambo. It was later adapted into English by Norman Gimbel and popularized by Dean Martin under the name "Sway." Since then, it has been performed by many artists around the world, crossing generations and styles.
I decided to perform it because its essence blends sensuality, elegance, and movement, and I felt I could convey that vibe through the flute. I also love reviving these classics and giving them a personal touch, connecting the traditional with the contemporary.
I hope you enjoy this version as much as I enjoyed preparing it.
Thank you for your continued support!

Letra:
When marimba rhythms start to play
Dance with me, make me sway
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore
Hold me close, sway me more
Like a flower bending in the breeze
Bend with me, sway with ease
When we dance, you have a way with me
Stay with me, sway with me
Other dancers may be on the floor
Dear, but my eyes will see only you
Only you have that magic technique
When we sway, I go weak
I can hear the sounds of violins
Long before it begins
Make me thrill as only you know how
Sway me smooth, sway me now
Other dancers may be on the floor
Dear, but my eyes will see only you
Only you have that magic technique
When we sway, I go weak
I can hear the sounds of violins
Long before it begins
Make me thrill as only you know how
Sway me smooth, sway me now
When marimba rhythms start to play
Dance with me, make me sway
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore
Hold me close, sway me more
Like a flower bending in the breeze
Bend with me, sway with ease
When we dance you have a way with me
Stay with me, sway with me
When marimbas start to play
Hold me close, make me sway
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore
Hold me close, sway me more
Like a flower bending in the breeze
Bend with me, sway with ease
When we dance, you have a way with me
Stay with me, sway with me
