Hier geht's zur Deutschen Version
We had a very busy weekend. There were a few open mics g going on but the major event was Todd in the Hole were we played last year, well I didn't as such.. 🙄 I'm still waiting on images for another post.
We have two gigs lined up this coming weekend, a pub on Friday and a local village festival on Saturday, so we took one of our new songs out to one of the open mics we went to on Saturday.
"Baby when you're gone" by Bryan Adams and Mel C went down very well indeed and we now consider it gig-ready for the weekend ahead.
I'm posting a taster here that our friends Sarah took, who also runs that particular open mic. You'll also get a little bit of "Respect" by Erasure, we are both 80s kids after all.. 😁

Es war viel los am Wochenende.
Es gab ein paar Open-Mic-Veranstaltungen, aber das größte Event war Todd in the Hole, wo wir letztes Jahr gespielt haben. Naja, ich war nicht wirklich dabei. 🙄 Ich warte noch auf Bilder für einen weiteren Post.
Wir haben für das kommende Wochenende zwei Auftritte geplant: Freitag in einem Pub und Samstag auf einem Dorffest. Deshalb haben wir einen unserer neuen Songs bei einer der Open-Mic-Veranstaltungen am Samstag getestet.
„Baby when you're gone“ von Bryan Adams und Mel C kam richtig gut an, und wir halten ihn jetzt für konzertreif für das kommende Wochenende.
Ich poste hier eine Kostprobe von unserer Freundin Sarah, die auch diese Open-Mic-Veranstaltung leitet. Ihr bekommt auch ein bisschen „Respect“ von Erasure – wir sind schließlich beide 80er-Kids. 😁
Übrigens: Den Song durfte ich aus urheberrechtlichen Gründen nicht auf YouTube hochladen, aber wir können ihn euch hier zeigen. 🥰👍
