This is the same parrot that was once common in the gardens, fields, and streets of Pakistan. Today, when we look for it, we find it either in a cage, or in our memories. The reason!!! In Pakistan, trees have decreased, homes have been destroyed, and we have taught children that birds are toys something to be captured, something to be displayed. This is the mindset that needs to change. In England, this same parrot is called an invasive species, meaning a bird that can potentially be harmful to the local environment. Despite this, the public values it, does not harm it. Children are taught to feel nature, not to be captured. We also need to make the same change now. We must teach our children that birds are meant to fly in the air, not rot in cages. Trees are not just wood, they are life. Breaking bird nests or throwing stones at them is not mischief, it is destruction for which everyone pays the price. If we don't change our minds today, tomorrow our children will only see birds on YouTube. Come on, give them not cages in their hands, but bowls of seeds and water. Not prisons in their hearts, but love for nature.Let's make Pakistan the land of birds again full of freedom, color, and song. Have your children ever seen a bird flying free in the sky?
