Since March, I've had a DJI Mini 3 drone. This drone was a birthday gift from my dad, who supports me immensely in my photography career and wanted to give me this gift so I would have a new working tool. Although I've practiced a lot and am getting the hang of it, I must admit I've flown it very little because there's a lot of regulation regarding this in Venezuela.
In this post, I want to show you some of the photos I've taken with the drone in the few times I've had the opportunity to fly it.
Desde marzo tengo un drone dji mini 3 , este drone fue un regalo de cumpleaños de parte de mi papá, quien me apoya muchisimo en mi carrera de fotografo y quiso darme este regalo para que tenga una nueva herramienta pero aunque ya he practicado bastante y lo voy dominando, debo admitir que lo he volado muy poco porque en Venezuela existe una fuerte regulacion con respecto a esto.
En esta publicación quiero mostrarles algunas de las fotos que he hecho hasta ahora con el drone en las pocas veces que he tenido la oportunidad de volarlo.
These were literally the first photos I took the first time I flew it. I was testing how high I could fly it, and the screen said up to a maximum of 120 meters in height. But I live in a mountainous area, and at 75 meters, I was already getting a strong wind warning, so I had to bring it down. I couldn't take it to the maximum height.
Estas fueron literalmente las primeras fotos que tomé la primera vez que lo volé, estaba probando que tan alto podia volarlo y en la pantalla decia que hasta un maximo de 120 metros de altura pero vivo en una zona montañosa ya a los 75 metros me estaba saltando una advertencia de fuerte vientos y tuve que bajarlo, no lo pude llevar al maximo de la altura.
Even so, it was enough to be above all the buildings in the city and get these beautiful aerial views:
Aun así fue suficiente para estar por encima de todos los edificios de la ciudad y tener estas vistas aereas tan bonitas:
In one of the buildings, there was a park, and I turned the camera view completely downwards and was able to get this photo that I really liked, it's very urban. I tried to make it as symmetrical as possible:
En unos de los edificios había un parque y puse la vista de la cámara totalmente hacia abajo y pude hacer esta foto que me gustó mucho, bastante urbana, intenté hacerla lo mas simétrica posible:
And very close to that place, there was a river. I flew the drone there and took this photo:
Y muy cerca de ese lugar habia un rio, llevé el drone hasta alli y tomé esta foto:
Another day, I had the opportunity to fly the drone from a private urbanization and took advantage of that moment to lift it and take these photos of the city:
Otro dia, tuve la oportunidad de volar el drone desde una urbanizacion (privada) y aproveché ese momento para elevarlo y hacer estas fotos de la ciudad:
The next photo is of a very well known church in the city:
La siguiente foto es de una iglesia muy conocida en la ciudad:
On another day, there was a very beautiful sunset, so I decided to raise the drone to take a couple of photos, and I was super happy with the results. First, I took some photos of the sky:
En otro dia habia un atardecer muy bonito así que decidí levantar el drone para hacer un par de fotos y quedé super contento con los resultados, primero le hice algunas fotos al cielo:
And look at this strange cloud formation:
Y miren esta formacion de nubes tan extraña:
Then I turned the drone toward the city side, and the combination of artificial lights and the blue hour looked very beautiful:
Luego giré el drone hacia el lado de la ciudad y se veia muy bonito la combinacion de luces artificiales y la hora azul:

Increíble todo lo.que se puede hacer. Esas fotos al anochecer son hermosas. Si así vas empezando ya quiero ver los resultados cuando seas todo un experto con el dron. Poco a poco nos vamos mejorando, no hay nada mejor que aprender cosas nuevas.

El ojo fotografico definitivamente ayuda tener experiencia componiendo las fotos, pero aun me falta mucha mas practica al volar el drone
