Quite a fan of the Posh initiative! Although I don’t use it myself (don’t have a personal Twitter account that I use), I’m definitely supporting it!

When will you be adding more social network links to the posh site? I can currently link Twitter but since Elon's makeover that site gets more useless every week. I noticed you've picked up on my shares from bsky, but I've no way to associate my account there with here.

It's really disappointing to watch people take advantage of these systems, particularly when it hurts the hard work of genuine creators.

I guess there are always those that try and game the system. That's too bad.

With Reddit it's clear but what are your future plans for bluesky? Do you have thoughts to support it's too or not and it'll stay let's say on current stage?

Greetings, friend, I'll do more research on Reddit so I can participate there too. Thanks for the info. I didn't know there was another way to participate besides the Gosh. I'll get on it.

I like the direction this great project is going, and it's an efficient and ingenious way to use popular social media to grow Hive and vice versa.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Reddit. In fact, I deleted my account because I rarely used it right when I started Hive last year. By chance, at that time I discovered Reddit Posh and since then I have regretted what I did (it's a bad habit I have of deleting accounts that I haven't used for a long time).

If I wanted to participate now, I know I'd have to take my time creating a new Reddit account, start joining Subreedits, and earn Mana by interacting on that social network. And as I said before, I'm not used to this, but hey, that may change in the near future.

Of course, I obviously want to do things right and not make any mistakes. I don't expect much from this either; I just want to try out alternatives so I can grow at Hive. I wish the Twitter option would still work now, but unfortunately it doesn't, I'm more active on X/Twitter than any other social network.

This update was very important and timely with the current state and changing aspects of POSH. It's great to see so many new users positively engaging and understanding the importance of bringing traffic outside of Hive.

It's really hard to balance maintaining good quality content and rewarding it properly, but the way you're working behind the scenes is definitely commendable. The awareness you've shown especially around AI and plagiarized content is very important.

The way Hive is growing on Reddit is really inspiring. The way some of the posts are trending is really incredible. I hope this initiative continues to move in the right direction. Thank you for such a beautiful and open analysis.

Good to see initiatives like this, grow the hive, I read that the problem then is keeping individuals engaged, some I know from the past expected instant riches and ditched posting after about 6 months as they were not prepared to "work" for want of a better word I kept getting meaasages like " how do I get my money out", told em to fuck off your account is less than $100 keep going...Nope that was the end of one individual FFS.

I guess the only snag I see with promoting hive is that when things are incentivised some will always look to get greedy, and look for ways to maximise their own worth rather than be a team player.

I tried using Reddit, I’m not used to that platform one bit because the process it takes to post is bit tiring. My Reddit account is still fresh and I haven’t been able to make any post since I need upvotes or mana to do that.

I guess I’ll pay more attention to it so I can engage in RedditPOSH.

you're posting on a public and open blockchain, sharing does not take away any value from you. In fact, not sharing may take away value from Hive itself as that's one of the main ways for the platform to justify all the author rewards it's spending on authors

Exactly, without the lack of a main stream marketing strategy, we are the marketing team of hive and the more view we get, the more people discover us and eventually land here. All the web2 platforms generate money from view only - views come and then ads come...
