And now the explanation of the publications of the week follows, followed by the statistics.

On Twitter I published only 3 videos, (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), because the fourth video was more than 2 minutes long and since I don't have a Premium account it couldn't be posted. The statistics were very poor, which I found strange because X's statistics are usually better than YouTube's, which wasn't the case this time.

I believe it was because I decided to also put long video content on YouTube, and this way I got some better statistics, but I'll explain later when it's time to talk about YouTube.


Also I announced the publication of my long video, and it didn't get many views:

However, things went a little better on YouTube. I was posting (and will continue to post) the shorts on a new channel that I had created exactly for that purpose. However, I decided to start posting the long videos that I made for 3Speak on an old video channel that I have (also a conversation channel), where I had 1,500 subscribers, and I will start talking about Hive there, to try to bring people here through curiosity, since most of the topics published are only known to Hive users.

But first, let's look at the shorts' statistics. The second-to-last one was posted 5 hours ago, and the last one is scheduled to be posted tomorrow at 12:00 (gmt-3):

Even with the low number of views, the number of impressions continues to rise, which shows that the algorithm is delivering the content due to regularity, and the accumulated result in the long term will make a difference. We are building to reap this increase in views and impressions when we have a large number of shorts published. We can see that in the time span of 1 week, there were more than 200 impressions, the content is being delivered.

Long-form content, which is also in the 7-day timeframe, continues to deliver well, with over 220 impressions, and the second video with the most impressions in the statistics has a retention rate of 50%, meaning people are consuming the content, even though it was created in 2016. So there is a loyalty among the audience that consumes the content and this can be transformed and transferred to Hive.

The video published today 2 hours ago has already reached almost a hundred impressions and 2/3 of them came from notifications, meaning users who are subscribed to the channel. It means that YouTube is still delivering and we have to find the right hook to attract these people.

And as we can see, these users who received the notification watched 1/4 of the video, that is, 25% retention. A value that I believe is high for an 8-minute video that until almost 6 minutes talks about a subject that they (a priori) have never heard of.

These are the statistics for the week. I'll try to fix them to close the statistics cycle from Friday to Wednesday, so that every Thursday we can have the most accurate numbers, or close to that.
