We have one special subreddit - r/Cryptocurrency. It's special because it's the biggest sub about crypto (our main niche!) which is friendly to Hive links.
This is why it's important to care about this place. Recently, I spotted that almost 30% of links on r/Cryptocurrency was from Hive within 24h. Too many! And @acidyo agrees with that. Let's introduce a new rule: each user can weekly share not more than 4 Hive links in r/Cryptocurrency. Thank you!

Well spotted @x-rain and @acidyo, I still think four posts per candidate per week is quite a lot. If just 12 candidates each share four posts, that’s 48 posts a week and potentially six Hive links in a single day. It would still come across as spammy.
Maybe two posts per candidate each week is enough, especially since other people who aren’t in the competition also want to share. We don’t want to flood the feed.

Let's see how it will go after everyone knows sharing in c/C is watched. We had this - throwing any suitable Hive link to c/C in the hope of generating 100K views - you never know what post will make it. It's different now.

I just hope people realize that we are a grwet community, a chain that actually helps humanity what we all do - I am just becoming a bit frustrated by such messages without knowing what we really do. Hope we can win such people so they learn how great it is.

Was not fooling you at all, this post i entered yesterday, was for approval with mods in histroy sub for hours and went live later while i was in bed, this morning woke up at over 100k views (pretty surprised) and since then running, even now again 20k more as 30 minutes ago so we might hit 500k views even (but can not edit submission anymore) - maybe I should have saved that post for next week contest indeed and only should have used the other posts (would be ok for Top 5 at least) - next week for sure not such a lucky punch again.
Only issue I have that (probably as of hours approval) the redditposh bot did not get triggerd for the post but hope the guys will see my comment here and react accordingly :-).

Hey @uwelang, any post that goes in "awaiting moderator approval" and then gets approved never has the redditposh comment, I always delete the posts that go in awaiting for that reason, so act accordingly

Oh ok. That's good that Uwelang was patient enough to wait for the mod approval. That teaches us that patience is key, as normally I am impatient to wait, then delete and repost to other subs. Well done @uwelang.
Maybe different approach compared to you guys that maybe know more about rules and bot stuff - I never delete any post apart I get massive attacks / downvotes - if mod approval is required I simply wait (says "waiting for approval - normal thinking) - why shall i delete a post that might get 500k views only as it is in approval mode?
In my job I have to aprove or decline a lot shit content by my teams - and I will not do that automatically (or via assistants or AI) but read submission first and then decide - maybe i am just old school but still think human brain should be part of any decision-making process.
Might be different here though as non-critical decisions that change the world or industry.
