Is there a way or process where people can feedback on friendly subreddit news / developments (such as they decided last week to change rules and not allow self promo, or blog / social posts - or when they comment they do not accept our domains)?
Just as updated doc so everyone is aware what could happen - of course one should read sub rules before posting - they are not always that clear and even sometimes when clear still alow certain content against rules while they delete/ban other content.
But I do not wanna make it too complicated my friend
I think we often make wrong conclusions about subs... Like, a sub added a requirement of SS but someone missed it and is saying "they banned Hive links". So, such updates can bring much confusion, I believe. But if you've got a comment from a subreddit saying "we consider Hive links spam...", then show me the screenshot and I'll update the list.

Reddit is ultra paranoid when anything crypto is mentioned. Many of the subs will give you a permanent ban if you provide crypto related links in comments.
It is generally true about any social media on web2. But you can find crypto-friendly subs on Reddit.
I have been trying to find the crypto friendly ones which also accept promoting external links. Got banned from three subs this week already. I'll try the ones you mentioned and see how that goes.
I've only been doing this for a few weeks, but my tip is to use a peakd link, not hive.blog. Hive.blog seems to be shadow banned on Reddit.
Also, if you want a payout, share articles written by people with names at the start of the alphabet. This is because the payout bot appears to work alphabetically, as opposed to date order.
So if it gets liquidity, it starts at "A" and continues till it runs out. Say it runs out at "J" and gets new liquidity 3 days later. It'll restart at "A" again, so new payouts at the start of the alphabet take precedence. It'll only do the full A to Z if there is sufficient liquidity for a single run - but that seems unlikely, so stuff at the end of the alphabet might not get paid out for months.

Very interesting - and weird. I never tried to understand this algorithm, assuming it was based on date order, because "why else"...
If you post a hive.blog link, and log out, and it disappears from the New section, it's shadow banned. I think it dates back to when hive forked from steem and Justin Sun persuaded both twitter and reddit to blacklist hive.
Re the payout bot, take a look at your wallet - it'll have a redditposh memo saying "Comment payout for https://hivel.ink/@redditposh/re-xxxxx" and it will be in alphabet order based on the name of the author of the article you shared. (I was puzzled why newer shares were being paid out before older ones, till I noticed it was being paid in alphabet order).

You also can't get upvotes for shadow banned links and comments. But I and all guys have had a lot of upvotes over the last months for hive blog shares. Probably, hive blog has been banned in subreddits where you share links lately (or something else).
Maybe that's what it is. I'll have to try some new subreddits!
While you're right that it is in alphabetic order for some reason, rest assured the pending payouts are being stored and will eventually be paid out as well. The queue is quite long as things stand atm due to the sudden increase in sharing and how well they started doing. We may try and pause the hbd contest payouts for a while to catch up with the 410 pending payouts we currently still have.
